Nestled in the heart of the Arboretum area of South Charlotte is the beautiful neighborhood of Bailewick.  Built by Waters Construction Co from 1998 – 2007, these luxury executive homes have lots of space in a fantastic location.  The neighborhood is small, with only about 75 homes, but all are beautifully maintained and have that classic, traditional feel.

Bailewick homes are all full-brick, and range in size from 4,000 to 6,000 SF.  4-6 bedrooms are the norm, and most homes have 4 full bathrooms.  Lot sizes average about .40 acres, but the lots range from .29 to .75 acres.

Bailewick homes for sale have enjoyed a rebound in 2015, with a 6.56% increase in sales prices over 2014.  As of 8/31/2015, 5 homes in Bailewick have sold, at an average sales price of $671,200.  The average price per SF was $132.62/SF, and sellers averaged about 97% of asking price.  Days on market have averaged 66 days in 2015.

You can’t beat the location of Bailewick neighborhood!  Less than 5 minutes away is the thriving Arboretum Shopping Center, which offers fine and casual dining, movie theaters, and tons of retail.  Southpark Mall is less than 15 minutes away!  For commuters, the tip Uptown is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and a trip to Charlotte Douglas Airport is about 45 minutes.
